L’Heavy Metal non è morto combattendo. È stato svenduto da chi pretende di esserne devoto, pur avendone rinnegato ogni principio. Non è stato necessario distruggerlo: è bastato trasformarlo in merce, spettacolo, intrattenimento per individui convinti di appartenere a qualcosa che non sono più in grado di comprendere.

Avete conservato le urla, i simboli, le immagini della ribellione. Avete eliminato tutto ciò che dava loro un significato. Ne avete fatto un cadavere da esibire, un’identità da acquistare, un rito svuotato da ripetere davanti a un pubblico che applaude la propria inconsapevolezza.

Non esiste alcuna intenzione di recuperare ciò che avete divorato. Nessun ritorno alle origini, nessuna redenzione, nessuna nostalgia per un passato che non siete degni di rivendicare.

Opera Ultrasonica e Opera Infrasonica rappresentano l’ultimo atto di questa separazione. La musica non viene distrutta, censurata o sostituita dal silenzio. La sua materia viene conservata e trasferita oltre i limiti della percezione umana.

Continua a esistere. Ma non è più accessibile a voi.

Per la prima volta non siete voi a decidere cosa ascoltare, cosa possedere, cosa consumare. Non vi viene chiesto di comprendere. Non vi viene concessa nemmeno la possibilità di fingere di aver compreso.

La natura non conosce il vostro mercato. Non ha bisogno dei vostri palchi, delle vostre classifiche, delle vostre appartenenze. Non cerca approvazione e non attribuisce alcun privilegio alla specie che si è autoproclamata misura di ogni cosa.

Avete trasformato la musica in un prodotto. Noi l’abbiamo sottratta al consumatore.

Non è una provocazione. Una provocazione desidera una reazione. Una protesta riconosce ancora un interlocutore.

Heavy Metal did not die fighting. It was sold off by those who claim to be its devotees, while betraying everything it stood for. There was no need to destroy it: turning it into merchandise, spectacle and entertainment was enough, for people convinced they still belong to something they can no longer understand.

You kept the screams, the symbols, the images of rebellion. You erased everything that gave them meaning. You turned it into a corpse to display, an identity to purchase, a hollow ritual repeated before an audience applauding its own unawareness.

There is no intention of recovering what you have devoured. No return to the origins, no redemption, no nostalgia for a past you are unworthy of claiming.

Opera Ultrasonica and Opera Infrasonica are the final act of this separation. The music is not destroyed, censored or replaced with silence. Its substance is preserved and carried beyond the limits of human perception.

It continues to exist. But it is no longer accessible to you.

For the first time, you do not decide what to hear, what to possess, what to consume. You are not asked to understand. You are not even granted the possibility of pretending that you do.

Nature knows nothing of your market. It has no need for your stages, your charts, your affiliations. It seeks no approval and grants no special privilege to the species that proclaimed itself the measure of all things.

You turned music into a product. We have withdrawn it from the consumer.

This is not a provocation. A provocation seeks a reaction. A protest still acknowledges an interlocutor.

We owe you no explanation. We owe you no experience. We do not even owe you a sound.
